Red Rooibos

Similar to the tea plant (Camellia sinensis), the rooibos plant (Aspalathus linearis) undergoes oxidation that darkens the leaves over time. So, like black tea, red rooibos is the aged version of the plant. Maturation gives it a strong natural sweetness with no caffeine whatsoever. We source our organic red rooibos from the highest mountain peaks of South Africa. It's an ultra-fine, delicate herbal that produces a hearty red color with a warm, comforting scent when brewed. Smooth and succulent with an aromatic aftertaste.

Tea Tips

Brew with a water temperature of 212°F (100°C) for 3-5 minutes.
