This unique and limited black tea comes to us from the city of Thyolo Moto in Malawi, Africa.  Some compare it to the Chinese Lapsang Souchong however this description isn't really accurate.  It is a coarser, partially oxidized black tea which is then smoked over guava wood that is found in the vicinity of the tea plantation.  This process results in a pleasant and milder smoke flavor compared to other smoked teas.  The tea base is somewhat sweet and spicy with a malty finish.
